  • Opening Intro -

Online education has become increasingly popular amongst college students nowadays, but there is little reason students off all ages couldn't take advantage of our technologically advancing world for their educational bettering.

-------------------------------------

More and more cyber charter schools are popping up around the country and world allowing students of all ages to attend school on their terms. Below is an outline of a few major reasons online schooling is beneficial to every student:

Allows students to set their own pace

Students are no longer limited to learning as quickly as their slowest classmate. Some students have the ability to pick up a concept quickly and move on while other’s need to spend more time on it. Online schools allow students to work at whatever pace works for them.

Creates a more comfortable learning environment

In addition to getting to learn in their pajamas, students of online schools don’t have to face the real world difficulties of a daily commute, potential bullying, peer pressure, or anything else typically associated with real world school.

Promotes a more customized education

Not only can you learn when and where you want, to an extent you can also learn what and how you want. Most online schools have a more diverse choice of electives, allowing you to customize your education to a much higher degree than you would be able to by attending your typical school.

Endorses collaborative networking opportunities

According to Agora, a Pennsylvania cyber school, students have the ability to meet and work with students from all over. This could result in a student constructing a network of close friends across the country or world. Online education doesn’t have to be nearly as isolating as it sounds.

Supports career advancement

With the flexible schedule that online schooling allows, students are able to pursue their passions at greater length, developing them and making them more likely to succeed if they choose to pursue them as potential career paths.
