1. Write Ebooks
Quarantine is the perfect time to write that novel you have always dreamed of doing. All you need to get started is a word processor and your imagination. Major ebook publishers such as Amazon, Smashwords, and Draft2Digital make it easy for you to format an ebook file from your raw manuscript and publish online within minutes.
Genres that are the most popular among readers are romance, mystery, science fiction and fantasy, and non-fiction books. Although most self-published writers will not get rich, you can make some decent extra money doing it, especially if you promote well and your book catches on.

2. Sell Your Old Stuff

4. Do Freelance Work
The Internet has opened up many opportunities to do freelance work from home. If you are a writer, accountant, artist, graphic designer or another professional who can do online gig work, this is an option to pursue.
It requires some commitment and effort to get jobs, but no long-term commitment, which makes freelance work great for tiding you over until you can go back to your regular job. Sites such as Upwork, Fiverr and Freelancer are places to display your skills and bid on jobs. You can also have your own website and pitch to private clients directly.
Freelance work is not always easy, however, as you will be dealing directly with clients and must handle other aspects of running a business, such as marketing and accounting. You will also need to pay tax on any freelance income that exceeds a few hundred dollars.
5. Start Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing has become a very popular way for people to earn extra money online because it is relatively easy to do and quite enjoyable. Affiliate marketers promote and write reviews about products they like while including links in their posts where readers can buy that product.
