Local SEO is essentially the practice of ranking online locally for a given term. Two of the most popular plugins in this field are “All in One SEO” and the “Yoast SEO” Plugin – both of which are free and provide quite a level playing field when it comes to on site search optimization. Google either one and learn the ins and outs of each, then decide which suits your needs best.
4. Content Marketing –
If you haven’t heard of content marketing yet, you will soon enough. Like now. Essentially this is the practice of using content to market your business on the web and it entails things like blogging, videos, images, audio, etc. Anything that can be consumed online and placed on your website to share can be considered content marketing. However as with all marketing, it has to have a purpose and a goal. If you want leads for your insurance business, then setting up content to reel leads in is what you need to do. And this could be in the form a blog post, a video, a slideshare presentation, a podcast, an infographic and so on. However in keeping with the local search theme of this article, you would want to add in specific location based content in the mix to attract those specifically searching for local content.
