The best of SayEducate.com for 2010.

What can we say? We appreciate your patronage in 2010 and look forward to your many visits in 2011. But, before we begin this year we’ll take a look at the recent past, particularly those top five articles published and read last year:

1. Operating A Fire Extinguisher 101 – Our top article in 2010 wasn’t written by our staff, rather it was contributed by Keith Liston on behalf of Chris Curry. Who knew that fire safety loomed large in the heart of our readers? Kudos to Chris for contributing such an informative piece and explaining why having a fire extinguisher handy in the home makes perfect safety sense.

2. Reclaim Privacy for Facebook Privacy – This past spring and summer, Facebook privacy was a huge issue as users discovered that some of their important data was being shared without their authorization. For several weeks a hue and cry could be heard across the Internet; happily Facebook seems to have resolved its key privacy issues at least for now.

3. Tire Manufacturers: Sifting Through Numerous Brands – An ongoing feature for SayEducate.com is our “Autos Express” section where we discuss new models and automotive-related news. Apparently, our overview of the tire industry’s biggest players caught your attention as we took a look at an industry which has gone through consolidation and is beginning to see the first Chinese brands make an appearance.

4. 8 Back To School Safety Tips – The safety of our children is of utmost importance and this article, derived from a Universal Services of America tip sheet, hit a responsive chord. Parents are becoming much more aware of the challenges facing their children as they leave the house and make their way to school. Nobody wants to worry excessively, but well placed concern seems warranted.

5. Memorial Day Weekend Car Bargains Await Shoppers – As the auto industry began to recover, so did consumer confidence. But, today’s car shoppers want a bargain and our timely Memorial Day piece delivered important tips on how to save money. Guess what? The tips we shared in this article still apply today and can be used to help you save thousands on your next car.

As always, we appreciate our readers and the many contributors who helped to broaden SayEducate.com. We plan to keep the fires lit in 2011, by bringing to you informative and timely pieces all year long. Please subscribe to an RSS feed to find our latest reads as they go live.
